Careers at LIAS LIAS

LIAS is a new institution. The people who join us now will have an outsized influence on what it becomes - in academic quality, teaching culture and student experience. We work with specialists, not generalists, and we expect the same clarity and rigour from our team that we ask of our students.

We would love to hear from qualified actuaries, academics and education professionals who want to contribute to what we are building. If that sounds like you, get in touch.

We are particularly interested in people with experience across the following areas :

1

Teaching and lecturing

Qualified actuaries or academics able to deliver live online sessions in modules aligned to IFoA Core Principles and Core Practices subjects.

2

Thesis supervision

Experienced actuaries or academics willing to supervise independent research projects in actuarial science, insurance, pensions or risk management.

3

Student mentoring

Qualified actuaries who can support students with exam planning, study strategy and career navigation, particularly those with experience in the Gulf, India or South Africa.

4

Academic administration and student support

Professionals with higher education operations experience to support programme delivery, admissions and the student experience.

5

Marketing, communications and partnerships

Professionals with experience in higher education marketing, content or employer engagement who understand the actuarial market.

A small team building something that matters.
