The Strategic Advisory Board provides professional, industry and strategic advice to LIAS and EAI Malta. Its members contribute insight on actuarial practice, employer requirements, professional developments and curriculum relevance. The Board operates in an advisory capacity and does not exercise the formal academic or awarding powers reserved to EAI Malta.
Practising actuaries and industry specialists who contribute professional insight, case study guidance, and market relevance to LIAS's actuarial curriculum.
Specialist actuarial faculty and academic contributors coordinated through LIAS. All persons undertaking formal teaching, assessment or supervision on the Master of Science in Actuarial Science are formally appointed, contracted or authorised by Euro American Institute, Malta and remain subject to EAI Malta's academic regulations and quality-assurance requirements.
LIAS is a new institution. The people who join us now will have an outsized influence on what it becomes - in academic quality, teaching culture and student experience. We work with specialists, not generalists, and we expect the same clarity and rigour from our team that we ask of our students.

We are particularly interested in people with experience across the following areas :
Qualified actuaries or academics able to deliver live online sessions in modules aligned to IFoA Core Principles and Core Practices subjects.
Experienced actuaries or academics willing to supervise independent research projects in actuarial science, insurance, pensions or risk management.
Qualified actuaries who can support students with exam planning, study strategy and career navigation, particularly those with experience in the Gulf, India or South Africa.
Professionals with higher education operations experience to support programme delivery, admissions and the student experience.
Professionals with experience in higher education marketing, content or employer engagement who understand the actuarial market.
All roles are delivered online. No London presence required.
Students from the UK, India, Gulf, South Africa and South East Asia.
We expect teaching connected to how the profession actually works.
